The Local Market

For buyers, Mississauga real estate offers a wider variety of options. You can find detached homes, even historic ones in villages like Streetsville and Port Credit, as well as townhomes and even new developments springing up every day.

This is what makes Mississauga great for buyers of all kinds – from young families, upsizers, downsizers, or investors. Even more than Toronto, Mississauga has opportunities for every style of buyer.

Things To Do

One of the main reasons that folks like to call Mississauga home is the convenience to a wide variety of amenities. The downtown is home to Square One, one of the region’s biggest shopping centres.

At the same time, the area is home to multiple parks and great green spaces – like Erindale Park, Kariya Park, and even Lakeview Promenade Park right on the shores of Lake Ontario.

Whether you’re looking for urban hustle and bustle, or rural bliss, you’re going to find it in Mississauga. Start your day in a quaint village, shop at some of the area’s hippest stores, or try one of the area’s many amazing restaurants. It’s that easy!

Mississauga Neighbourhoods

The areas of Mississauga are diverse, beautiful, and perfect for buyers of all kinds – here are some of our favourites:

East Credit

A neighbourhood filled with young families and anchored by the Heartland Town Centre, East Credit is a convenient place to call home with big-city amenities and small-town comfort.

Hurontario

One of Mississauga’s main roads, Hurontario cuts from north to south throughout the city. With an upcoming LRT project, access to everything from Port Credit to Downtown and up north, Hurontario is in close proximity to some of Mississauga’s best places to call home.

Meadowvale

In between the Highways 401 and 407, Meadowvale is a quiet community that is best suited for growing families. It’s also home to the Meadowvale Conservation Area, which is a green space perfect for anyone looking to escape the city.

Fairview

Right close by to the heart of Mississauga, Fairview is home to some of the area’s best schools, in close proximity to Square One Shopping Centre, and steps from Cooksville GO and Hurontario Street.

City Centre

This is the heart of Mississauga, with new developments perfect for first-time buyers and downsizers, this is where all the action starts and ends. There’s parks, schools, shopping, and so much more – rivalling even the amenities Downtown Toronto can offer, with suburban flair.
