Getting Around:

Commuting in and around the Town of Ajax is a breeze, in large part due to the local Go Train transit. This ultra-efficient mode of transportation allows passengers to travel to Toronto (providing direct access to Union Station), the GTA, and beyond. The Ajax Go Station also features a new parking lot for over 1000 cars, along with “kiss and ride” areas that allow for quick drop-offs.

For those who own a vehicle, recent improvements to the highway system are making it more efficient to commute. The first phase of the Highway 407 East project has added a 22-mile extension that connects to the 401 via Highway 12. It’s designed to reduce traffic congestion along the 401, making it easier for commuters in Ajax (and those across the GTA) to get around.
