The Basics
In the Durham Region, just 25 kilometres east of Toronto, sits the Town of Ajax. It’s just west of Whitby and east of Pickering. This once-small town was named after a Royal Navy cruiser known as the HMS Ajax, and incorporated in 1955. Of course, a lot has changed since then.
